Windows Vista Optimization

By admin | Jun 9, 2008

Dear Readers,

I apologize for not writing for a while. I took a very needed and well earned vacation and now i’m back straight to business.

Windows Vista, the newest and the best operating system from Microsoft came out in Nov 2006 as a big boom to the personal computer users because it had relatively high minimum requirments and provided lower performance than Windows XP did back than. WHY?

Well, it’s because Microsoft tried to make Vista as idiot proof as possible and tried to make it very well designed to compete with it’s biggest enemy MAC’s Leopard.

3 Tips To Make Windows Vista Work Properly

  • The worst “feature” in Vista is definately the “UAC” or User Access Control which basicly acts as a very strict 6th grade teacher that will make you suffer for every action you take. the first thing after installing Vista will be disabling it by going to “Control Panel” -> “User Accounts” -> “Turn User Account Control on or off”.
  • The next step is ofcourse disabling all the Vista sidebar Widgets and Gadgets. (by simply closing them).
  • Afterwards, i would suggest personalizing the “Theme Settings” to the “Windows Classic” Theme and changing the Start menu to it’s Classic version.

And “Walllla”, you have a Windows Vista with a Windows 98 looks that performce at least as good as XP – i would even say better made just in a matter of minutes.

Make sure you use the Defragment on a monthly basis and Clean you Computer With a Registry Cleaner like Regcure and an Anti Spyware like SpyXoft SE
