Make Money Selling Gold - Is It A Scam?

By admin | Jul 25, 2008

Dears,

The Money4Gold or Cash4Gold programs are everywhere lately! I’ve been asked dozens of times if it’s trust worthy and I had no reason to believe it isn’t. Although the internet is a very dangerous place and you know it by now, some sites are actually legit and really pay good buck.

So, to be sure and give my friends and readers my true Anti Scam opinion, I had to check it out myself.

Last week, Thursday night, I started googling for Money4Gold / Cash4Gold programs and found over a dozen. about 5 of them said that they pay top dollars and that their payout is the highest. I was looking for slick design, 800 or 888 phone number, contact form and also that this program has been around for a while and actually paid real people, real money. after spending hours on review pages, forums, blogs and ect. I handpicked the ones we need to check more thoroughly .

First off, I called them to make sure it’s a real company (always call if you have even the slightest doubt).
Then after asking a few routine questions I already knew the answers to, I filled the online form (which is a lot safer and better than doing it over the phone (you never know who listens) and the process started.

The process is 3 easy steps:

1) You request their FREE goldpak form.
2) You send them the Jewelry
3) They send you the Cash.

I got the goldpak after 2 days, sent it back on the following day, and got the cash 2 days after mailing my gold and silver package to them - total time, 5 DAYS !

The best CashforGold companies accept:
gold or platinum. That includes anklets, bracelets, brooches, chains, charms, clasps, coins, dental scrap (Gold or Silver), earrings, gold solder, ingots, links, necklaces, nuggets, pendants, pins, rings, shot, watches & bands, wire (Gold or Platinum) & EVERYTHING ELSE! All Karats Accepted: 8k 9k 10k 14k 15k 18k 22k 24k. And if you’re not sure of something, you either mail it to them and let their experts make the determination or give them a call.

Eventually, I had my friends send their gold to other companies we found reasonable and after comparing the service, quickness of getting paid and payout rate/amount, Anti Scams brings you the best Cash4Gold program :

    Hello Dan,

as the article says, not all cash4gold services are the same. it seems that you have sent your gold to http://www.cashforgold.com and not the site I recommended - http://www.CashForGoldUsa.com

they have the highest and quickest payouts in the industry.

    I recently used http://www.dollars4gold.com.

Their service was very quick, very professional and the payout was much higher than what I was quoted at a gold jewelry shop at my local mall. I sent them a couple of small chains to try out and received a check for $147.00 in less than a week. On my second lot, I received $589.00!

I was comfortable with the fact that Dollars4gold is actually a publicly traded company - Money4gold - symbol MFGD. I think this gives them more oversight.
