Pharma Labs, Acai Cleanse : I also got sucked in by the “free trial offer” meaning that I thought I was just paying for the $4.95 s & h charge but then got a $79.95 charge on my account. After the fact, I did re-review and it does sketchily say 10 day trial period vs. 30 day trial product, which is the confusing part. I may be a simple minded consumer, but I am not a person without respect. I feel stupid not only for ordering a simple herbal laxative that is 8 times over priced, I feel stupid for having been hood winked into such a purchase. Calling they did credit my account for this charge…but why should I even have to do that if the product and price is what it claims to be? I told the gal on the phone that I only wanted the “sample item” nothing else…not the monthly service JUST the sample product. Guess what? This charge showed up on my account today. I was never able to reach anyone on the phone, but I left a message voicing my anger and disapproval. Charges showed up on my account and that is what prompted me to call again and embarrassingly explain to a obviously very young girl, popping her gum, that I was searching for a product to help bowel elimination as a means of losing weight, more energy etc, etc…whatever. She reminded me that I had to return the items within 14 days or I would be charged $79.95 full price. THEN the real marketing motivation and draw in to continue, they’ll give you a “surprise” 50 % discount to keep getting a product that could not be actually be worth more than $6.00. If you don’t call some pay the $79.95, if you do you get a discount. So if you’re stupid enough not to call, $79.95 is charged to your CC. If you call because you’re on SS, scared to death about sudden bank charges you didn’t know were coming and embarrassed you got such a “stupid” charge for such a “stupid” product and you can’t pay your rent they’ll give you the discount which still works for them in a big way, but is still “stupid” for you!
The ingredients aren’t going to kill you, hopefully, but the unscrupulous sales tactics may. This company and those copy cat companies won’t be around long on their own, they are just one of the many product marketing fads that pop up everywhere trying to make a big grap it and run profit. Folks, go to your doctor, your health food store or the grocery vegetable section…get the same for way less and keep your dignity!

this is a rip off. i tried to cancel my subscription to this rubbish before the 15 day deadline, but was charged £297.00 to my credit card unlawfully. this is happening to thousands of people worldwide. the banks are aware but cant do anyhting as they hide the costs in the small print. please dont fall for this!

just started this diet today. I have already begin to feel more energized than usual. wish me luck because I’ve tried other diets but a soon as i stopped , I just gained the weight back.

i ordered my free trial to only pay for shipping and handling on 8-17 did not receive them colon cleanse 3000 until 8/28 and received the acai berry on 9/2. i was charged $4.95 on 8/24 and 8/26. on 9/3 was charged $83.95. i called the company and they said that i had 14 day trial and it started when i placed the order. they said too bad soo sad. i noticed that the acai berry was from the same company so while i was on the phone stated that they better cancel that one too. I used the colon cleanse for 6 days and felt no difference. i got better results from taking fiber drinks 2 times a day. The company Colon Cleanse 3000 has the same address as the Acai Berry Breeze. now i have to send the Acai Berry Breeze back and only took 4 tablets. i got better results from protien drinks. they swore that the 14 day trial starts from the order date and is in print in the terms and conditions. DO NOT GET TAKEN BY THIS COMPANY.

The presentation in the advertising is the key. Look at the pictures at the top of the page. If you examine them very closely, you will see that they are indeed photos of the same models torso. These appear to be phenomenal results, but what I think you are actually seeing here is a “during” and “after photo..If the models gut were impacted with waste, that, and the toxins/gas that would accompany it would make her stomach rounder and tighter. In the photo above at left, the model has what appears to be a very weak looking, loose, soft belly. She probably had lost all the trapped material by the time this pic was taken, and had to work out like a demon to regain the muscle tone in her stomach before taking the “after photo”. More than likely, this model did not even use this product. In a lot of these ads, as well as those for exercise gadget informercials, models are sought who are just slightly out of shape, or have recently given birth to give an appearence of “overweight or out of shape” (actually, these models can whip back into shape quickly, giving the product some credibility.) In short, people see dramatic results, and, desperate for the same result, buy the product without really checking into it…
